The PT-AE8000U employs a dual core processing engine to make possible frame creation with motion blur reduction to provide sharp clear images even with fast moving objects. The Detail Clarity Processor analyzes the video signal in each scene and dynamically optimizes the sharpness of each part of the image. The Advanced Gamma Adjustment Function allows adjustment of brightness, red, green and blue at any of fifteen points. Adjustment point positions can be shifted both horizontally or vertically to bring out the desired graduation level. The Cinema Color Correction System allows flexible color control. 3D Performance. The PT-AE8000 features 480Hz-driven LCD panels, which lengthen the time that the shutter is open about 1.5 times the duration of a 240-Hz drive system. Together with Panasonic’s original high-precision overdrive technology, this improves the brightness of the images viewed through 3D Eyewear, while at the same time minimizing crosstalk, or double image seen as a result of the left image entering the right eye and vice versa. Advanced image processing permits 3D Motion Remastering to compensate for the time difference between when the left/right image is simultaneously captured and when it is displayed serially. Five different 3D effect modes are available to convert 2D programs to 3D. Special Features. The PT-AE8000U is loaded with special features: 2D to 3D Conversion, Dynamic Iris, Waveform Monitor, Split Adjust Mode, and dual configurable trigger/sync jacks. Connectivity. The PT-AE8000U offers (1) 3-RCA Component Video input (Y, Cb/Cr, Pb/Pr), (1) Composite Video input, (1) S-Video input, (1) analog computer input (VGA), (3) HDMI x.v.Color™ and Deep Color digital video inputs, VIERA link and a 12V Trigger. |

Remote. The PT-AE8000U's backlit universal "learning" remote can be used to control multiple devices in your home theater. Versatility. This projector operates from any line voltage between 100-240 VAC, 50/60 Hz with auto sense and auto select. It can project from a table top, upside-down from a ceiling, in front of or behind the screen, direct projection, or with the image reflected from a mirror. Manual Lens Shift (±26% Horizontal, ±100% Vertical). The lens shift feature - sometimes called optical keystone correction - allows the projector to be placed anywhere within its offset range without distorting the image. Unlike digital keystone correction, which does the same thing electronically, the manual lens shift feature leaves no digital artifacts. Powered Zoom/Focus Lens. This projector comes with a powered zoom lens and focus that is perfect for most applications. The projection distance should be between 1.35 and 2.70 times the screen width. Locating the projector toward the short end of this range will result in the brightest image. There are six lens zoom and focus settings that may be saved for limited automatic or manual recall. 3-Year
